The Application Management Platform (AMP), a configurable set of cloud services that provide device manufacturers (OEMs) and mobile operators a simpler, faster and better way to distribute apps to Android devices.
Earlier today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, WildTangent announced the Application Management Platform (AMP), a configurable set of cloud services that provide device manufacturers (OEMs) and mobile operators a simpler, faster and better way to distribute apps to Android devices.

WildTangent has partnered with OEMs and mobile operators for over a decade, providing revenue-generating entertainment services for their customers. During that time, we’ve become all too familiar with the lengthy, complex process the industry follows to install apps onto devices.

OEMs and mobile operators have to install apps during the manufacturing process months before devices even enter the market. They often build a set of apps unique to different regions and devices, adding complexity and unnecessary costs.

We built AMP to modernize this process for the industry.

AMP streamlines the app management process by allowing OEMs and mobile operators to deliver apps to consumers on device setup. With AMP, we remove the existing technological and operational restraints and allow the industry to move devices to market faster.

Using AMP, our partners use real-time data intelligence to recognize app installation trends to recommend the latest, most popular apps that customers want. These improvements also introduce new revenue opportunities for AMP partners in the app marketplace.

For WildTangent, AMP deepens our company’s commitment in mobile. AMP now sits at the core of everything we’ll do at WildTangent, and we’re excited to help our partners address the needed changes and opportunities ahead.

We’ll have more to say about AMP this week from Barcelona. If you’re at attending Mobile World Congress this week, visit our booth in the App Planet, hall 8.1, stand 8.1 I 13. Or, to schedule a meeting with us to discuss AMP, send an email to amp@wildtangent.com or visit the AMP website at www.wildtangent.com/amp.
